Workplace Mandate Resources

Updated: Sep 10, 2021

As vaccine mandates sweep the already challenged and stressed workforce, employees who have been working the frontlines for a year and a half find themselves facing medicine by force or losing their jobs/careers. Is this how we thank those who took on the risks to serve us, many of whom are now naturally immune? Is this legal? Much of this is unprecedented- the times and the need for such specific laws to protect our rights. We have compiled the following free resources:

  • Liberty Counsel is offering resources in writing the exemption and there is a form to fill out to ask for free representation if you are denied. Learn more at: EXEMPT - Liberty Counsel

  • First Liberty has released an entire toolkit that outlines all the relevant laws for every situation, sample exemptions and a contact form for free legal help if your rights are violated. Learn more at: Vaccine Protection Kit | First Liberty

  • Alliance For Defending Freedom focuses on five core areas: religious freedom, freedom of speech, sanctity of life, marriage and family, and parental rights. They may be able to assist with or refer matters to their Allied Attorney network that involve bona fide religious objections to the COVID-19 vaccines. Non-religious objections, such as those based on medical, health, cultural, or political concerns—although they may be valid—are outside the scope of ADF’s mission. Learn More at: Vaccine Questions | Alliance Defending Freedom (

  • Liberty Institute is a nonprofit organization committed to defending and restoring religious liberty across America. Services are free.

  • Pacific Justice Institute is a legal non-profit, with the mission is to freely defend – without charge – the religious freedoms, parental rights, and other civil liberties of people who cannot defend themselves. Pacific Justice Institute

  • Advocates for Faith & Freedom is a nonprofit free law firm dedicated to protecting constitutional and religious liberty in the courts.

  • The Thomas More Society is a not-for-profit, national public interest law firm dedicated to restoring respect in law for life, family, and religious liberty. Based in Chicago, the Thomas More Society defends and fosters support for these causes by providing high quality pro bono legal services from local trial courts all the way to the United States Supreme Court. • Christian Law Association acts on behalf of believers as legal missionaries defending churches, ministries and individuals challenged in exercising their faith.

  • Candlelight Christian Fellowship has issued this statement and resource: "Because of recent distress and growing persecution/regulation/discrimination against those who have chosen to refrain from participation in the Covid-19 “vaccination” program, we have written the following and grant each Candlelight Member permission to copy and paste the verbiage below when forming a personal letter to your school, college, university, employer, etc. Moreover, it is the position of Candlelight Christian Fellowship that members be allowed to make a personal decision of this nature without prejudice, encouragement or judgment (see Romans 14). Therefore, if you choose to “vaccinate” we do not see it as our prerogative to pass judgment or provide approval for said decision. This we leave to each person before the Lord. However, as Christians and as American citizens we do believe we each have the privilege and responsibility to exercise our freedoms and maintain our rights. Moreover, we will not be forced into a decision against the known will of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Biblical Worldview, or our doctrinal perspectives. Our prayer is that the following will be helpful to those of you who are being unjustly judged, persecuted, manipulated, and coerced into violating your strongly held religious beliefs. Moreover, your Biblical and First Amendment Rights must be contended for. Therefore, use this position as fitting": Vaccination Requirements - Candlelight Christian Fellowship

  • Liberty Counsel Samples- (We highly recommend using samples for reference but putting your beliefs into your own words. Form letters may be questioned as insincere):

Minnesota Lawmakers are not in session at this time but they DO need to hear from you and what's happening. Find out who represents you here:

  • Include your personal story and even pictures of you in the workplace or your family. Be real and put a face to this issue.

  • Ask them to author/support protective legislation like MN House File 533 / Senate File 1264, originally written by a house member who's family was personally impacted by the Essentia flu shot mandate in 2017. It seeks to establish exemptions to immunizations for adults in the workplace. If your lawmaker is already an author- THANK THEM and see what else you can do to support them as they fight for your freedom.
